Christmas @ Grandmas House!

This CHRISTmas was so
wonderful...the kids were able to understand more about
Jesus being born and
how special that was for all of us. How much he loves us and all about being
blessed and giving to others. They had a great time
really getting into
prayer time and praying for loved ones that are really
struggling this year.
What a wonderful season for them this has been. The best
part was being able
to go down south and see our family! This was Mia's wish and
she did not
give up on it she asked me everyday if we were going she was
relentless..as
always! So we said yes and off we went.

It was so wonderful to
have
my kids spoiled by their grandparents isn't it just beautiful to love like
a
child..they taught me some great lessons in the four days we were there. They just
love on everyone just because... no strings attached!

My greatest gift was to see
my sister it had been a year since I had seen her..she's a junior in high school
and
she looked so different! I missed her the moment we drove away and
headed home!
My prayer is that she can come see us! She is my only family
besides my mom and
I was like her mom for the first 9 years of her life so
she's like my first
daughter!

Christmas is over and tomorrow
is New Year's eve the Love of my life
has to work :( but that's okay I will
see him next year! haha! I will be
thinking of him all night... all that has
happened this year and how much he does
for us! Thank you Lord for a year of
so many blessings, specially the three best
blessings you could have ever
given me!
p.s. My friend is a baker and
she brought us this amazing cinnamon twist bread
before we left at 5 :30 am
and so we turned it into french toast on Christmas
morning! Thank you Boss
Lady for such a treat!! God Bless you!

We got Josiah that same race car driver helmet & steering wheel set! Its so funny when he wears it :D I'm so happy that you guys had a great time in So Cal...and your right, the innocence and purity that our kids have in their hearts is so sweet, something I envy and want to strive for.

It's a HUGE lesson I learned this week...I need to love not for my sake or for anyone else's sake, but for the sake of Jesus...because He loved us first and despite all our sins and shortcomings, He STILL does. So we need to do the same.

Happy New Year, my friend...I'm sorry we won't be spending it together...but have fun wherever you spend it & I look forward to lots of good times in 2009 with you :D

I SO told Aunt Jen to buy that for Evan! SCORE! I totally picked a winner, huh? (even if it didn't come from her...I'm feeling real good about myself right now!)

The kids faces by the tree are perfect! That's a pic that will get looked back on one day :D

And you and your sister look beautiful! So similar! I'm glad to know that you had such a great time!!
Love ya and Happy New year!!
